so here's my take: The dragon was on a mission to find the King, right? that baby in the paintings grew up to be him! But when the dragon's mission wasn't done (hence, no sleep), it went berserk on the fifth floor. Then boom! Laios and the gang take it out and use its flesh and blood to revive Falin with forbidden magic! And get this, the dragon's special, so when Falin's revived, they kinda merge, explaining Falin's magic power boost!
I figured the flesh itself contained magic power / mana which would explain Falin's magic boost, but I didn't think the dragon's consciousness would stick around too. Perhaps the curse of the dungeon that binds souls to bodies affected the dragon as well, so the dragon's soul got merged with Falin's when she was revived. The resurrection agency is above ground (so no bound souls) and they use pork meat (so no magic) so there could be a lot of factors that contributed to this.
So, like, I was thinking after reading this 👆, Like if that whole soul binding stuff applies to the Red dragon, maybe it's 'cause the Lunatic Magician did some special mojo on it. Remember in past episodes when Marcille mentioned how monster souls don't usually act like that? If this dragon's soul was really tied to its body post-death, maybe it's because of some unique enchantment
Sorry, but your princess is in another castle
Senshi : ITS-A-ME SENSHI~
Ah shit, Here we go again
She got saved, just to be taken again. She’s got to be cursed
We went from save Fallin to hunt Fallin, tho I don’t think they I’ll try to kill her
or turned into another red or maybe a gold/blond dragon
Laios got mouth to mouth from that orc ;)
Noo they are leaving falin ):
Wonder what that orc concoction taste like? lol
taste like porc lol
There was a frog leg in there though lol
anything you dont know tastes like a chicken
Kazuma's trauma lmao
lol I remembered that being one of his worst experiences
Idk what Laios hated more, the mouth to mouth, or the concoction lol
Probably both T_T
Laios being Laios, he probably hated not being awake for his first 'taste' of orc.
Not only Laios, lmao Marcille's face was priceless!!
My boi kazuma got SA'd by her kind.
Blame it on his popular phase lol
Marcel: I'm just out of mana, im-
Momy thicc orc: EAT YOUR MEDICINE

Me: i am also injured....
Ladies and gentleweebs, have I got some news!
The word "isekai" has just been added to the Oxford English Dictionary, as well as mangaka and other Japanese words!
Wow anime influence is going crazy🔥
NTM Miyazaki got his first Oscar in over 20 years for Boy in the Heron a few weeks ago, it's been beating Across the Spiderverse during awards season. Feels conflicting being a Marvel fan who also happens to be a filthy American weeb, NGL.....XD
So yeah, anime influence is through the roof RN.
I don't get why people find this news worth, the Oxford Dictionary is known for adding words when they become commonplace. Merriam-Webster Dictionary on the other-hand is pretty strict with their additions, which is where the accomplishment of being added to the dictionary comes from.
Because think of it this way, while technically a win for the isekai community, it's a win for all of us anime fans. And with the amount of impact anime's pulling lately from shows like Chainsaw Man, Oshi no Ko, Demon Slayer, and Frieren trending worldwide, Miyazaki winning his first Oscar in over 20 years for Boy and the Heron, we're bound to gain a lot more anime fans.
Also, if this were a few years ago, I can agree with you, but considering words and slang like gaslighting, Black Lives Matter, rizz, cancel culture, stan, and speedrun to name a few have been added to the dictionary, IDK if I'd call Merriam Webster "pretty strict" or label Oxford as "commonplace".
It’s an W and an L at the same time. More people watching means more people enjoying good shows and more people to talk about said shows, but on the other side, the risk of the west contaminating anime becomes bigger as well. I really really REALLY don’t want anime to start appealing to politically correct bs,hopefully we can welcome the open minded people and gatekeep the snowflakes at the same time
Neither do I, and that's something to keep in mind.
As long as we don't associate ourselves with these idiots, we should be OK. If anyone asks, we don't claim them. XD
Pretty strict in the sense that the word needs to have a clear and concise meaning behind it AND be relevant enough to matter for future generations to know it's meaning. I am not surprised they were added since they are words we hear frequently in movies, music, or on tv, etc. etc. etc. so they need to be documented for future generations to know their meaning. Isekai doesn't fit that bill here in the US. While we all know what it means, it isn't commonly used in documented media yet.
EDIT: I also forgot to mention that a lot of words we use today were actually slang terms for something in the past. Some of which had a completely different meaning but was overtaken by the slang term. Pad, Crash, Jet, Scene, Split, Sponge, Outta Sight, Brew, Blitzed, Stuck Up, Square, Tight, just to name a few. These are all slang terms over 60 years old that are now normal words in the English language. My favorite one though is "OK", one of the most commonly used words in English these days. It's first recorded usage was in the 1850's in a newspaper from Boston and is believed to be an abbreviation for "Oll Korrect", which was slang for "All Right" and "Correct" at the time.
That just mean Merriam-Webster is irrelevant and Oxford is the only relevant dictionary. When a word is created, it becomes a word. If Webster is picky with what becomes a word, then they lose their place in becoming a dictionary.
You clearly have no understanding of the difference between dictionaries. I'll give you a hint, there are actually two different versions of the English language. Now, what do you think is the purpose of these TWO DIFFERENT English dictionaries? And you think one of them can just lose their place in relation to each other? lol, you're funny. Another hint, It hasn't been added to Websters because it isn't commonly used in the United States as a genre title, but it is in England.
No way
that's what English is: what's yours is mine, what's mine is mine...hehe xD

Man that episode was something else... The main goal hasn't changed. Falin must be saved!
Key visual and PV for second cour came out today.
First being dragon food and now this…
Poor Falin T^T
Falin’s a true damsel in distress lol
And she is the most powerful of them all, even before being reborn in dragon flesh lol
I think her and marcile were on the same level it's just that Falin had different talents from her. After the soul fusion she was definitely the strongest though.
Saw the visual, not the PV.
Speaking of PV, I got a lotta them to watch from AnimeJapan last weekend.
So looks like we finally see the true effects of how Marcille revived Falin, it seems like her soul and the dragons merged together but the mage was able to temporarily bring forth the dragon. It is sad to see this turn of events when they worked so hard to find her.
I am glad Laios was able to convinced that they should go back to the surface since Falin is alive now but they don't have enough power to fight the mage. Thank goodness Zon's sister was able to give Chilchuck some needed advice.
I felt so bad for Marcille though, she had it a lot worse than Laios with the concoction since she saw what was in it, how it was made and how it was given. It must have been a more traumatic experience for her than it was for Laios who was knocked out lol.
LoL 😂😂😂😂 i guess thats why Marcille is passed out after the (mouth to mouth) concoction for the rest of the episode.
You want yuri?
Here's your yuri: Orc yuri!
Marcille: I never said anything about wanting yuri
Well not exactly. We do not have Falin at stock right now. We will give you a Orc female instead. :-D
Gonna dive back into that Living Paintings episode, hunting for clues that might shed light on the Lunatic Magician's motives. Curiosity's got me hooked lol
Probably the last time We'll see this OP. It's quite relaxing, I like it.
9:38, 9:42 It wasn't subtitled, but the ghost said これ以上は心配しないで (kore ijou wa shinpai shinaide) - "You don't need to worry anymore"
The ED is so out of place again xD
A bit tonal shift this episode. Losing Falin again is a bit frustrating, but I like this development. I hope people don't start hating on Chilchuck too much, he was just super frustrated.
A trailer for the second cour just came out, so check it out.
Chilchuck's response is pretty normal, especially when dealing with such overwhelming power. Hope folks don't start throwing hate his way too lol
Jeez Falin just can’t catch a break T^T lol
